The third is the last

“As soon as I arrived to Bogota from “La Isla de los famosos”, I decided to go the surgery room to have my breast reduced in size” explains Catherine Mira. Her breast hurt and the displeasure about her own appearance was increasing.”My self-esteem was very low, and I wanted to change my appearance because my big breast made me look overweight and older. The shirts were too tight and looked vulgar…”.

Just few days ago Catherine made her dream come true. The surgeon Luisa Plata performed on her the reduction mammoplasty. “She had very big implants (455 cc)”, says the doctor.

Catherine is also happy, “I recovered the sensibility on my breast, something I had lost totally and also the previous scars disappeared”, she says. This is the third plastic surgery she goes through. The first one was when she was 17 years old after having her son Juan Jose, when she got an augmentation to size 34B. A year and a half ago she got another operation to have her prosthesis changed and put them in the muscle because they were in a lower position. Her breast was changed, but she got too big ones, size 36 which did not pleased her.

“Now I feel that my clothes fit better” and she also says that her boyfriend Salomon thinks that her breast looks better because of her weight and height and hopes this is her last operation.
