Charity, the best role in Christmas
Isabel C. Estrada, Catherine Mira, Rochi and Carlos Calero encouraged by the surgeon Luisa Plata, accepted to do a charity work this year and to give away the present that she gave them for Christmas.
With the agreement that each one of her friends, people known by her, even her patients did a nice charity work in Christmas parties, the surgeon Luisa Plata gave them a toy as a gift to artists as Catherine Mira, Rochi, Isabel Crisitina Estrada, Maria Cecilia Botero , Belky Arizala, Andres Suarez and Carlos Calero, among others.
The idea is that they, at the same time, give these presents to poor children who are on the streets when they are on their trips and give the children a smile in this season.
Dr. Plata was looking for a different strategy to make happy a thousand children, and the artists agree to this idea.
"I think it is a good deed. I am always willing to do this kind of job. I still have the toy in the car, but I am going to give it to a child who I see at a traffic light and moves my heart", said Catherine Mira, actress of "El último matrimonio feliz".
Besides social work, Dr. Plata says that it is a double gift for children, because it is not only the present but also the opportunity to know their favorite artist.
"Obviously, I am going to give away the present to meet the expectation of this deed. But I am only going to give it away days before Christmas Eve, this is when all children expect to get a present from somebody. It is going to be a pleasure to get smile from children" said Carlos Calero, who in January starts filming the second season of "Duro contra el muro"
Isabel Cristina Estrada did not help to give away the gifts the same day she got them. She asked the Dr. Plata to give her another 2 dolls, and at the traffic light of the 106 street with 9th avenue, she gave the three dolls away to three children who get close to her to greet and sell her something.
"At the beginning they were a little bit shocked, but at the end they were very excited. That was nice. It feels good to do these kind of deeds", the actress says, who currently is filming the new Caracol project, "Todas odian a Bermudez".
