Breast Reduction for Men
Gynecomastia is characterized by a condition of overdeveloped or enlarged breasts in men. Frequently, appears during their puberty or after the age of 60. Usually, it does not have any symptom. It is important to rule out any base alteration.
The surgical treatment is the performance of a liposuction in the breasts and some times it is necessary to also dry out part of the mammary gland through a small incision in the areola.
It would be preferably to perform the liposuction with VASER (se lipolysis) to obtain better results.
Surgery takes from 1 to 2 hours and is ambulatory. Afterwards, a chest garment shall be used for a month.
