Laser hair removal

Hair removal consists of eliminating hair of any part of the body. It is common among west women. It is really weird on men, but lately it has had greater boom.

Hair zones

It is common to have hair in different zones of the body, bur in some of them it is not desired. The hair zones of the body that usually bother us are:

  • On the head
  • Eyebrows and eyelashes
  • Pubes because the tendency is to get rid of it or cut it, but many times it is an aesthetic choice, more than eliminating something anti-hygienic.

  • Back hair can appeared on men, at the end of after adolescence. Normally, it continues appearing in more quantity until the 40s or the 50s, when it is renew the one that already exists.
  • When the pubes hair starts appearing in puberty sometimes it also appears around the anus.
  • Both genders usually have hair in their noses and ear holes.

Laser Hair Removal

It is the best method to eliminate the excess of non wanted hair.

  • Leave smooth, and rejuvenated skin because of the stimulating effect of the light on the collagen.
  • In woman with hormone problems, is the best solution to reduce the hair excess, better then hormone origin medicine.
  • It is a medical treatment and it should be performed by trained doctors in laser technology.

In general, we can say that thanks to laser hair removal   you can feel a soft skin after the treatment. You do not feel pain and we can remove hair in less time than the other treatments.

Contraindications

  • Had taking Isotretinoina ( Retinoico, Acid vitamin C) You should wait 6 months to start Hair Removal
  • Having photo-awareness medicine. Bring information about the medicine to inform the doctor dealing with the treatment.
  • You must have a lot of precaution if you got a  recent suntan and VI photo type.
  • Be pregnant. We already say that laser is not teratogenico but by t International Ruling , was stipulated that : “ A pregnant woman should not have any medicine or procedure that is not essential for her health or her baby.”
  • Marked acne.
  • Mellitus diabetes.

We use a technique that is done with intense light applications on the skin. It is also known as IPL (intense pulse light).
The pulsed light go through the superficial layers of the skin. The irradiated energy comes absorbed by the melanine of the follicle, destroying this by heat action in a selective way, without damaging other structures and preventing the future hair growth.

Be careful with deceitful advertisement. Many times the total hair removal is guaranteed and this is not true. Honestly, many sessions to remove between 70 to 80 % of hair in the zone are required. Besides, the parts of the body react in a different way and the results can remain for a year or two. After this, hair starts to grow gain in less amount,  more fine, lighter and weak.
