Some patients present a volume increase of the cheeks as the fat bag enlarges (or bichat bag) that are located internally. There are some maneuvers to detect if extracting the bags the patient shall obtain a real change as in some people the cause is not the fat bag but a fat accumulation in the superficial layer of the cheeks and can be solved with a vaser lipolysis in this zone. This surgery must be well selected because if you do not perform it with a real indication (as is the case of the models that request it for a better photographic record) with the time, the tissues degenerate and can lose quite a lot of weight in this zone and give an old look aspect.

The incision is of 1 cm and is performed in the cheek’s internal part which takes between 30 and 45 minutes under local anesthesia or sedation. Recovery lasts 2 to 3 days.
