The Hyaluronic Acid is a substance naturally produced by the organism which exists specially in the skin helping to hold water and supplying moisturize and volume.

With the years passing and the ageing process, this acid keeps degrading and the organism decreases its capacity of replacing this substance, and for this reason exist a complete line of Hyaluronic acid fillings used to remold forms, contour the face and give volume to lips.

Wrinkles that best respond to this substance are those that are static and visible in a resting state (the most common are the wrinkles appearing around the mouth, between the eyebrows and around the eyes).

This is an out patient procedure, ambulatory that takes 15 to 20 minutes. Topic or local anesthesia can be used not requiring any previous preparation. Outcomes can be seen immediately and after its application the skin shall appear reddish or with small bruises disappearing quickly.

Wrinkles treatment can be complemented with other techniques such as the case of Botox.

Sometimes by the gravity effect and loss of tissues and others by the patients’ genetic characteristics there is a lack of volume in cheeks or in chins, which can be recovered with the use of Beatyfill (calcic hydroxyapatite) or with Sub-Q (Hyaluronic acid of high density) which are placed in a more deep plane than the usual fillings and produce an immediate effect of volume increase. These fillings are temporal (approximately they last for 15 months) and can be used when the patient requires slight changes or is not sure about the change he/she wants to do and prefer to prove it for a time.

This is a procedure performed in an out patient room with local anesthesia and takes 20 minutes. A small inflammation is produced that could last for three days and it is recommended to not have severe physical activity.
